The Landings is a small community of two and three bedroom lakeside chalets.  We are located in one of the few privately owned coves on beautiful Lake Santeetlah .  When complete, there will be less than 25 lakefront homes on this property.  Each home has it’s own private boat dock that accommodates two boats.  The topography is typical for land in the Smokey Mountains .  Most of the forest is hardwood with a scattering of  White Pines.

One of the finest contractors in the North Carolina Mountains is the builder of choice at The landings.  As you will note from the architect’s renderings, the new homes are of the Chalet style as they blend into our lakeside, mountain environment.  Several homes are now occupied and  represent the laid back attitude that the developer wanted to create with The Landings…traditional, attractive, functional, convenient,  and comfortable, but not pretentious.

You will find The Landings to be secluded, but not isolated as the property is located less than three miles from shopping in Robbinsville , NC .  With ownership at The Landings you will have the most magnificent lake  in the Smokies at your door step.  Lake Santeetlah covers over 2800 acres with about 80 miles of shoreline.  80% of this shoreline is owned by the Nantahala National Forest .  10% is owned by APGI, the power generating company, and this shoreline is a part of a conservation easement.  Only 10% of Santeetlah’s shoreline is privately owned.   Lake Santeetlah is maintained for recreation year around.
